What does fashion mean for you and how would you describe your personal style? Fashion means everything to me. It is a form of self-expression, art and the way in which we choose to present ourselves to the world. I would describe my personal style as timeless, minimalist and earthy. What is your favourite piece of clothing and who inspires you? My favourite piece of clothing is my vintage Burberry blazer that I thrifted in South Africa. The styling possibilities with this blazer are endless. I always feel polished when wearing it -- it's my absolute fave! A bunch of people inspire me. Artists like Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse inspire me through their art and their personal lives. When I travel, random fashionable women I see inspire me. Writers like Maya Angelou and James Baldwin also inspire me. 

Do you have your favourite quote about fashion or in life? My favourite quote in life is "There's only one very good life, and that's the life that you know you want, and you make it yourself" -Diana Vreeland

Is there anything you don't like about fashion - how it is presented on social media?  I am not a fan of the extremely trendy things (ex. neon biker shorts). I also do not like cheaply made garments -- I think that its quite disrespectful to make and sell cheaply made clothing.

What is your dream?  My dream is to live a life full of happiness, love and wealth. I also dream to leave a mark on the world through my writing, art and style. Oh, and to travel! Lots of travel. If you could give one advice to others or to your younger self, what would it be? If I could give one piece of advice to others and to my younger self, it would be to just do it. Don't be scared to pursue something because of what others may think -- just do it.
